I was able to see Earth the night before I added this to my wishlist, and was just floored by the soaring, crystalline, jangly Western tone that Dylan accomplishes. Every note blooms with color. He has now been entered into my Pantheon of Tone Idols. But it takes two to tango, and Adrienne is truly the foundation of the foundation on those beautiful, swaying, contemplative, wave-like drums, holding us down to the shifting of stones over eons. No one else sounds like Earth.
